Mineral and smoke notes fill the firm finish. Kosher. Serving suggestions: Accompany a wide range of beef or lamb dishes, a good lasagna or a selection of savory cheeses. Drink now through 2014. The 2008 Golan Cabernet Sauvignon offers ripe berry and plum fruit notes rounded out with rich vanilla, spice and oak. This aromatic, medium-bodied wine finishes off with loads of fruit. This Cabernet Sauvignon is immediately approachable but will age well over the next five years or so. I recommend drinking it with boldly-flavored foods, such as spice-rubbed well-marbled grilled steak .
