The revival of this long lost Italian liqueur is one of the more anticipated releases in years. In the mid-nineteenth century Italicus was known as the, "drink of kings," and its popularity preceded it. The current version is based on the original 1850s recipe with a core of Italian Bergamot that is complemented with a variety of additional hand selected native Italian botanicals. Notes of tonic, herbs and bright citrus are abundant. This is an all purpose liqueur that will shine especially well in your long drinks and ap?ritifs.
