Tasting reveals dark chocolate, honey, toasted almonds, and vanilla cream, leading to a palate of roasted malt, cacao, and allspice. Perfectly paired with rich desserts like chocolate fondue or a classic cherry pie. A true connoisseur’s delight.

 

Wine Advocate: 93 Points

The nose is sweet and musty, buoyed by apricot preserves, blueberry pancakes, maple syrup, and fruit compote atop vanilla bean ice cream. The palate is wonderfully round and while it starts fiery -- it's bursting with Red Hots -- there's a world of chocolate fudge, espresso, cherries, and brownie batter underneath. Finish is zippy yet refined.
