Bold, yet easygoing, this classic spirit is a great base for cocktails, but on its own, it conveys a sense of saline minerality, with touches of meringue, rambutan, rosewater taffy and steamed wild rice. This is a practical, unpretentious Soju to have with a variety of Kalbi dishes, or Budae.
