Very attractive bronze/topaz color; excellent clarity. Opening nose is spot-on with leathery caramel that smells like brown butter or bacon in the first passes; caramel remains in charge after seven more minutes of air contact. Entry is bittersweet and very buttery/caramel-like; midpalate carries the caramel flavor forward, though not necessarily deeper as it stays kind of superficial.
