The 2023 Barbera d'Alba is another fine entry-level offering from Burlotto. In 2023, Fabio Alesssandria did not feel the Aves, his top Barbera, was materially different from this, the straight bottling, so he blended all the fruit together. Consequently, the Barbera has a bit more fruit density and a touch of oak influence that it doesn't typically have.
