Introducing the Chateau de Pibarnon Bandol Rose, a delightful and exuberant wine that showcases the beauty of southern France. This rose is crafted from a blend oF Mourvèdre and Cinsault grapes, sourced from certified organic vineyards with 40+ year old vines. The grapes are grown at the highest elevation domaine in Bandol, 300 meters above sea level, in terraced vineyards facing the sea, where the unique clay and limestone soil creates a cooler micro-climate compared to the rest of Bandol.
The winemaking process involves a combination of saignée and direct press for the Mourvèdre, while the Cinsault is directly pressed. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with indigenous yeast, this rose is a stunning example of balance, texture, and seamless elegance.
The Chateau de Pibarnon Rose exhibits an exuberant character, bursting with energy and youthful charm. As it matures, this rosé unveils a captivating dance of red fruits and sweet spices on your palate. With time, it evolves into a complex, mineral-driven, and structured wine, offering flavors of raspberry, blood orange, red currant, and nectarine. This age-able and complex beauty is truly one of the great rosés of France, with a showstopping balance of elegance and carnality.
The Chateau de Pibarnon Bandol Rose pairs wonderfully with a colorful and inventive cuisine, featuring sweet and rare spices. This versatile, four-season rosé can be enjoyed as a refreshing, fruity thirst-quencher in its early months or as a more mineral, complex, and structured wine later on. Delicate and refined dishes such as red mullet, poutargue, saffron-infused creations, Iberico Bellota ham, anchoïade, Roquefort cheese, and arugula salad make excellent companions for this captivating wine.
A full-bodied, blush wine that captures the licorice and berry intensity of Mourv?dre with a touch of silk from Cinsault. When you hear people talk of "serious" ros?, they’re talking about this wine — a full-bodied wine that reaches its peak with a year or two in bottle.
