This Turkish wine has some unique character to it. Visually it is a pleasing light ruby color. A bit peppery on the nose, the aroma is almost comparable to that of a pinot noir. Surprisingly well structured for a wine so light in body; flavors of plum and spices grip the tongue and give way to a firm, tannic finish. This wine would confidently pair with nearly any meat dish.
