Pierre Girardin, the 13th generation of his family to make wine, has quickly risen to Burgundy's elite since taking the helm in 2017. This Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles, crafted from 100% Chardonnay, exemplifies his mastery. Sourced from an iconic and rare 1er cru vineyard that shares the same slope as and borders the Grand Cru Batard-Montrachet, this wine showcases the pure, balanced style Girardin is renowned for. The vines, over 35 years old, are organically farmed. Using indigenous yeast, the wine undergoes fermentation and aging in 456L barrels (100% new) for 12 months, followed by 9 months in stainless steel. The result is an unfined and unfiltered wine that is mineral-driven, rather than oaky, with exceptional finesse and complexity. Experience a taste of Burgundy’s heritage with this exceptional White Burgundy from Pierre Girardin.
