Dark plums and mulberries here with black cardamom and licorice, as well as nut shell and wet soil. Full and structured with firm tannins, which are chalky and lightly chewy. Deep core of ripe dark berries with a meaty and warm finish, and fine tannins at the end with an attractive earthiness. Old vines, mixed plantings of 25 to 30 different grape varieties.
