Veuve Clicquot Description
Crafted from a blend of 50 to 60 exceptional crus, the Veuve Clicquot Rosé is a testament to the Cellar Master's creative expertise. With a traditional blend akin to the Brut Yellow Label, the cuvée boasts 44 to 48% Pinot Noir, 13 to 18% Meunier, and 25 to 29% Chardonnay.
To achieve its iconic coppery hue and burst of red fruit aromas, the blend is a crucial element in the wine-making process. The Cellar Master and his team of experts carefully select only the finest quality red and still wines from some of the most sought-after vineyards in Champagne, striving to capture the flavors and characteristics that define the Veuve Clicquot Rosé style.
In addition to the traditional blend, 30 to 45% of Reserve wines are incorporated into the cuvée. The Pinot Noir, which dominates at 50-55%, provides the structural foundation that is uniquely Veuve Clicquot. Chardonnay, comprising 28-33% of the blend, contributes elegance and finesse, ensuring a perfectly balanced wine. Meanwhile, a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend.
The final touch is the addition of 12% of still red wine made from red grapes, which imparts fruitiness to the Champagne. After a long period of aging in the Crayères (a minimum of 3 years for Rosé), the result is a velvety-smooth Champagne that is truly remarkable.

Aromas of crabapple, orange peel and dried strawberries. Full-bodied, layered and very flavorful, yet there is a creamy texture and a bright and vivid finish. Shows energy. VCP does excellent rose.
