This pale yellow wine greets you with an open nose of white flowers and citrus, evolving to notes of passion fruit and a mineral touch. The round, fresh attack leads to a delicious mid-palate featuring pink pomelo, pear, and toasted hazelnut. With a persistent saline finish and aromas of hazelnut and pear, this generous wine, made from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris, offers good freshness and elegance in every sip. Goes with seafood such as scallops, white crabmeat and calamari and it would work with a simple pasta or chicken dish with lemon and dill/tarragon.

The 2023 Lions de Suduiraut Blanc Sec is superb. It offers a bit more mid-palate creaminess than most years but also retains terrific freshness and energy. Lemon confit, tangerine peel, passion fruit, jasmine and crushed rocks all race across the palate.
