Vivid aromas of citrus blossom, white flowers, lemon curd and pears invite the first sip. Flavors of kumquats, Gravenstein apples and Meyer lemon peel dance with a harmonious frame of creaminess, juicy acidity and oak barrel notes, making it very versatile at the dinner table. Hints of tangerine peel and subtle green apple laced in oak linger on the succulent finish. More expressive in its youth than previous vintages.
A restrained nose that is very citrus-driven, displaying notes of honeydew melon, preserved lemons, lime zest and lemon balm. The palate is tight and fresh with a medium-bodied texture, showing notes of grapefruit, orange blossoms, flint and lanolin. A balanced and fresh wine from a hot vintage.
One of the most balanced Jordan Chardonnays to date. Flavors of juicy citrus, Asian pear and lemon peel balance seamlessly with the subtle French oak notes. The cooler-climate vineyard sourcing this year brings even more lively acidity and purity of fruit on the palate—making this vintage especially food-friendly and cellar-worthy.
