Pure and densely structured, delivering cherry, black currant, iron, tobacco and spice aromas and flavors. Shows firm tannins underneath, along with a spicy aftertaste. Offers fine balance and length. Best from 2025 through 2040. 285 cases made, 100 cases imported.

There is enough wood and vanilla nuances on the citrus confit and poached pear scents. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the delicious middle weight flavors that display plenty of citrus influence on the agreeably dry, stony and sneaky long finale.
