Domaine Jean Fery Description

The Wine conveys a seamless combination of fruit and herbal flavors that dance on the palate.  Refined tannins contribute to its silky seductive texture.  Its freshness and vivacity, which could have been difficult to achieve in such a warm year, is remarkable.  This is my ideal of Burgundy — flavor without weight.

This Côtes-de-Nuits-Villages Clos de Magny offers scents of small red or black fruits. Its mouth is ample, structured and provided with supple tannins . A wine to be tasted after 3 years in the cellar, the great vintages can be kept for 8 years or more.

Ruby red color with an open nose of fresh fruits of cherry and black currant. Spicy, with balance, texture, good structure and fine tannins. An elegant wine drinking way above its appellation.

Decanter: 92 Points

Rich, ripe red and dark fruit aromas of black cherry and plums. Robust style with silky textures, toasty oak and depth of fruit.
